We’re getting into the heart of blockbuster season, but with our list of the best movies to stream on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Max (HBO), and other services, you won’t have to break the bank at the theater! New originals and recent releases from traditional studios are landing on streaming services all summer long and we’re keeping tabs on all of them.

Kicking off July, Max adds the newest Godzilla x Kong film, Netflix releases its Beverly Hills Cop reboot, Prime Video showcases the Emma Roberts comedy Space Cadet, and the controversial Amy Winehouse biopic, Back to Black, arrives on Peacock.

One of the best streaming platforms for all things horror is Amazon Prime Video. Home to hundreds of scary titles from eras past and present, the Prime Video trove also manages to highlight films with lower budgets and less theatrical visibility.
